The Saddest Story in Sports
The first high school kid ever to run a mile under 4 minutes was a guy from Kansas named Jim Ryun.
At a nearby summer camp, there was another kid, a very good runner, who wanted to become the next Jim Ryun. He wanted to become the second high school kid to run the mile in under 4 minutes.
Early in that summer he wrote to Jim Ryun’s coach. He said, “You know, I’m going to high school here, and I hope to do this too… Could you give me some advice on how I should train?”
When the mail came in, this kid was the happiest runner in the world. He had this huge envelope, and Jim Ryun’s coach sent all of Ryun’s workouts leading up to the 4-minute mile. He gave him all the workouts. He gave him the Holy Grail of runner workout plans.
That’s the good news…
The bad news is he spent the rest of the summer reading the workouts. He never did the workouts.
That’s the thing about receiving valuable information…
You learn how to do something amazing (get more leads, grow your business, run a 4-minute mile) but then there’s the work of implementing the info.
Turns out, there are two ways to implement new information:
Yourself
With the help of someone who has “been there and done that”
When it comes to digital marketing for Service Businesses, that’s where we come in! We’ll continue to tell you “the how” in all our emails, but if you need an expert’s guidance in implementing and getting more leads:
REPLY to this email and I’ll send you more info on how our programs work.
Don’t just learn what to do - make it happen.
