You may have heard that Google has been hit with a major antitrust lawsuit - and they lost.
Here’s what that means for you:
I don't wanna make any promises, but this is the kind of lawsuit that could reduce your cost per lead because you’ll eventually have more options for where to get leads. And options are good for customers. But…
There are no guarantees. Just because Google lost this lawsuit doesn’t mean anything is going to change - especially not soon. There is another trial set to take place where the “consequences” will be decided.
So my simple recommendation is to make sure you have a healthy diversity of lead sources and not overreact to anything. Never rely on one lead source only.
Run ads on Google, yes. But also:
Optimize your Google Business Profile
Make sure your social media profiles are posting personality-filled content that’s useful for your community
Send regular newsletters and promotions to your email list
Leverage automation to reach out to your existing customer list through email & text
Simple, proactive behaviors that you control.
