is it the hammer's fault?

If you told someone “hey, I’m gonna build a treehouse for my kids and could use some tools…”

And that person gave you a hammer to help with the process…

But then you don’t finish the treehouse… would you then go to the person who gave you the hammer and say “this stupid hammer doesn’t work. I couldn’t finish the treehouse”…?

OF COURSE NOT. That would be ridiculous…

It’s not the hammer’s fault, it’s the builder. The hammer is there to do a simple job: hammer nails. If you don’t know how to use it or didn’t have the other tools to get the job done, that doesn’t mean the hammer “doesn’t work.”

So it goes with Facebook for marketing too.

Facebook is like a hammer - it’s just a tool for helping you generate leads. If your company is not generating leads, it’s not Facebook’s fault! It’s probably your overall strategy.

That’s why today at 2 pm PST / 5 pm EST, I’m hosting a free LIVE training on how to get HVAC, plumbing, and electrical leads for FREE using Facebook.

In this webinar, I’ll be sharing:

✅ How to find the right local groups

✅ What to post (and what NOT to post)

✅ How to engage like a human, not a billboard
