7 ways to prep for the slow season

The “slow season” is upon us…

Summer is winding down, school is back in session, and call volumes are about to drop.

Are you prepared?

If not, I’ve made a little checklist of things you can do to prep for when things slow down in your market:

  1. Set up an outbound calling script

  2. Set a “quota” of outbound calls for your CSRs to make each day

  3. Call back every customer who calls in but doesn’t book

  4. Automate regular maintenance reminders

  5. Call all your open estimates

  6. Send a home improvement newsletter to your list every week

  7. Ask for a referral on every job

That’s just a few of the cost-free things you can do to stay busy during the “slow season.”

Not every Contractor will be slow this year - and you can increase your chances of being busy with them by doing these simple, high-leverage activities.

If you want someone to help you set up your automations and marketing systems to keep jobs coming in when things are slow…
